Terms & Conditions
1. Who we are
FindYourBenefit is operated by Veradine Ltd, company number HE 487415, registered in Cyprus, registered office Sotiras 2, Tziovani Building, Flat/Office 6, Paralimni 5286, Famagusta, Cyprus. You can contact us any time at support@findyourbenefit.org.uk, and we aim to reply within one working day.
We are an independent paid service that helps you find financial support you may be entitled to — benefits, grants, Council Tax reductions, tax reliefs and social tariffs. We are not a government body and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any government body; we are also not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and we do not provide regulated financial advice. The eligibility check itself is free. What you pay for is the full personalised report and the ready-to-send letters, and that is a total of £34.99, taken as £1 today and £33.99 7 days later (section 3). We help you identify and apply for support; the decision always rests with the relevant authority, such as your council, HMRC or the DWP. We never take a share of anything you receive.
2. What you get, and when
Checking your eligibility and seeing a summary of what you may qualify for is free and needs no card details. When you pay we unlock, immediately: your full personalised report, and your personalised letters, which you can edit, copy and download as PDFs. There is nothing to wait for and nothing is posted to you. Your account keeps that report and those letters open for you afterwards, and you can sign back in and use them whenever you like.
3. What you pay
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable tax. There are no hidden fees and no charges beyond the ones set out here.
- £1 today, to verify your card. This unlocks your full report and all of your personalised letters immediately.
- £33.99 7 days after your purchase, to complete the £34.99 price. By paying £1 today you expressly authorise us to charge the same card you used, without asking again, £33.99 7 days after your purchase. If that charge is declined, we will try again on a later date of our choosing using the card details you have saved with us. We will not take more than £33.99 on top of the £1 you already paid, and we will email you a receipt for each charge.
- £34.99 is the whole price. There are exactly two charges and nothing further to pay — this is not a subscription, so once both have been taken you will not be charged again.
- Your access to the report and letters you paid for continues, at no further cost, for as long as you keep your account.
On your bank or card statement these payments appear as FINDYOURBENEFIT. If you ever see a charge from us that you did not expect or agree to, email support@findyourbenefit.org.uk and we will investigate it immediately and refund anything taken in error.
4. Cancelling, and closing your account
There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel. There are exactly two payments — £1 today and £33.99 7 days later — and once both are taken no further payment will ever be requested. There is no notice period, no minimum term and no retention process. If you want to stop the £33.99 balance being taken before we capture it, email support@findyourbenefit.org.uk.
If you would like us to close your account and delete your personal data, email support@findyourbenefit.org.uk and we will do it. We will confirm when it is done. Deleting your account also removes your access to the report and letters we generated for you, so download anything you want to keep first. Your rights over your data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your 14-day right to cancel, and how it works here
Because you buy online, you normally have a 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Your report and letters are digital content and are supplied to you in full and immediately when you pay — that is the point of the service. At checkout we therefore ask you to tick a box confirming two things: that you expressly want us to supply them straight away, and that you understand you lose the 14-day right to cancel once we do. That is the express consent and acknowledgement required by regulation 37 of those Regulations, and we record it with the date, time and IP address. If you did not tick that box, we would not be able to give you immediate access.
Because this is a single purchase rather than an ongoing subscription, that is the only cancellation right in play — there is no future payment for a cancellation to stop.
6. Refunds
Because your report and letters are unlocked and delivered to you in full the moment you pay, and because you expressly asked us to do that and acknowledged losing the 14-day right to cancel when we did, the £1 you pay today, and the £33.99 we later capture under section 3, are both not refunded once your report has been delivered simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 what we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and our service must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If it is faulty, not as described, or we do not provide what you paid for, you are entitled to a remedy — including a repeat performance, a price reduction or a refund — and nothing in these terms limits or excludes that. If something has gone wrong, email support@findyourbenefit.org.uk and tell us what happened; we would rather fix it than argue about it.
If you believe a payment was taken in error or without your authority, contact us first and we will investigate promptly and refund anything we should not have taken.
7. What we need from you
The letters and guidance we provide are templates personalised from the information you give us. You are responsible for checking the details are correct and complete before sending anything to a third party. You can edit any letter before you send it. Please give us accurate information — an application based on wrong details may be refused by the organisation you send it to.
8. What we cannot promise
We tell you what you may be eligible for and help you ask for it. We cannot guarantee that any application will succeed, or the amount you will receive — those decisions are made by the relevant authority, not by us. Scheme rules, thresholds and eligibility change; always check the current position on gov.uk or with the organisation concerned.
9. Your data
We process your personal data in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. We never see or store your card details ourselves — these are handled directly by our payment provider. Under section 3 above, your payment provider saves your card on our behalf so the remaining £33.99 can be charged 7 days after your purchase, with a further attempt on a later date of our choosing if that charge is declined — we hold only a reference to it, never the card number itself.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, email support@findyourbenefit.org.uk with the details. We will acknowledge it within one working day and aim to resolve it within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can raise the matter with your local Trading Standards service via the Citizens Advice consumer helpline, and you retain the right to take a claim to court.
11. Governing law
Veradine Ltd is registered in Cyprus and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Wherever you live in the UK, you keep the benefit of the mandatory consumer protections of your home country, and nothing in these terms takes those away.
